The Suzuki Gixxer SF, fully faired avatar of the Gixxer 155, will be launched in India on April 7, 2015. But the company has already commenced the booking process and you can book the Gixxer SF at Rs 5,000. The motorcycle, will be available in three colour options: white, black and blue. The official prices would be announced on April 7, 2015, at the launch, but dealers suggest that the motorcycle will be priced between Rs 1.05-1.10 lakh (on-road).
When compared to the Gixxer 155, cosmetically, the Gixxer SF will receive a fairing and a new set of graphics. A Suzuki logo runs through the tank, all the way to the fairing, similar to the one on the litre-class GSK-R. Rest of the body remains identical to the Gixxer 155. Mechanically too, the Gixxer SF remains identical to Gixxer 155 and shares the same motor as the latter. The 154.9cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, 2-valve engine delivers 14.8 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM and comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
