Leading Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki, has announced a new variant of their popular Access scooter. This new variant of the Access comes with alloy wheels and drum brakes. The premium looking alloy wheels were earlier offered only with the disc brake variant of the scooter, however, with a rise in the demand for alloy wheel option in scooters this new model was launched. This variant is now available across all Suzuki dealerships in the country. The standard model retails for INR 59,891 and is available in the shades of Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Pearl Mirage White. The scooter will also be made available in the Special Edition variant, with colour options like Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and Pearl Mirage White, for INR 61,590. The flagship scooter in Suzuki’s line up, the Access 125 aims to combine the best of both worlds – power and mileage. Powered by a state of the art 124 cc SEP engine, the Access 125 generates 8.7 ps @ 7000 rpm and 10.2 Nm @ 5000 rpm. It also offers M-Squish combustion chamber which further enhances engine performance. This new variant comes with a number of features, including easy start system, long seat and enlarged floorboard for a relaxed riding position, digital meter, oil change indicator and dual trip meter and some more. The scooter also comes with Combined Braking System (CBS) technology, which has now been mandated by the government of India. Along with CBS, the scooter is also equipped with Central Locking and unique Safety Shutter for its security.
