If you are really happy and excited about the Diwali gift/bonus that you have received (if you have) this year then this piece of news would probably wipe off that happiness from your face. A diamond merchant named Palki Savjibhai Dholakia from Surat, the owner at Hrishikesh Exporters, gave away massive bonus to his employees this Diwali as a performance incentive.
Employees who benefited under this performance incentive had an option to select between diamond jewellery, a brand new Fiat Punto or a flat. About 455 employees opted for Fiat Punto while 570 opted for jewellery and 207 took away the flats.
Speaking about this massive single order of Punto cars, Fiat said in a press release, “Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited (FGAIPL) today delivered its biggest bulk order for FIAT Punto with 455 cars to a prominent business house in Surat, Gujarat. The cars were gifted to employees as Diwali bonus. This is the largest single delivery made by any car company in India, according to industry sources. This is also the biggest number of cars given as Diwali bonus by any company.”
“The order of 190 Punto Evo 1.2 Petrol and 265 Punto Evo 1.3 Diesel in New Pearl White and Minimal Grey colours was taken by Sukrit Autolink, FIAT exclusive dealer in Surat,” the press release further stated.
The company that began operations in 1992 has a total turnover of nearly Rs 6,000 crore per annum. Hrishikesh Exporters has given away nearly Rs 50 crore in incentives this year. Still happy with that cheque in your bag?
