Mahindra dealers were recently invited for a dealers only meet where the company showcased its upcoming products. Previously, we reported the spy pics of Mahindra Mojo from the same dealer meet. Now, images of Mahindra Centuro’s new disc brake variant and Rodeo UZO 125 have emerged from the same meet.
Mahindra Centuro is first Indian motorcycle to receive a factory installed security system (remembered the TV commercial, didn’t you?). But Mahindra does not want to leave a single stone unturned to increase the sales of this commuter motorcycle. The new top variant of the Centuro will come with a petal disc brake. The power mill will remain the same 110cc engine that would churn out 8 bhp of power and 8.5Nm of torque.
The front disc brake gives Mahindra Centuro an upper hand against its competitors such as TVS Star City Plus, Honda Dream Yuga and Bajaj Discover.
The Rodeo UZO 125 on the other hand is just a cosmetic upgrade and mechanically remains the same. The new updated paint job consists of a dual tone colour. The model on display was a combination of black base paint accompanied by bright orange strips. The front wheel was also orange coloured while the rear wheel was painted black.
The engine will be the same 125cc unit which is found on the current scooter and would continue to produce 8 bhp of power and 9Nm of torque. This would help the Rodeo to stand against the new TVS Wego which is also offered in new dual-tone colour theme.
