The Skoda Shield is a unique after sales package introduced by Skoda India for Skoda customers. The package provides to the customer, ‘4 years of carefree driving’ with tension-free ownership experience. The Skoda Shield package is inclusive of Basic Motor Insurance, 24X7 roadside assistance and Extended Warranty and is available on all Skoda models including the Skoda Laura, Fabia and Superb. The package can be availed by the customer with the payment of a nominal fee at the time of purchase of a new Skoda car.
The package includes:
- Basic Motor Insurance – The Basic Motor Insurance of the Skoda Shield package includes a one year comprehensive insurance policy, along with which 24×7 Roadside Assistance will be provided for the same insurance term.
- 24×7 Roadside Assistance for the period of insurance – A breakdown or an accident can never be predicted. The 24×7 Roadside Assistance provides on-site support to customers in case of a breakdown or an accident.
- Extended Warranty for additional 2yrs/1,00,000 Kms – The Extended Warranty an addition to the new car warranty provided by Skoda Auto India. It is an extension of the warranty by two years or up to 1,00,000 kms over the standard warranty. Thus with this package, the car will be under a warranty of 4 (2+2) years or 1,00,000 kms (whichever is earlier)
