Skoda is one of the prominent European car makers in the world which prioritizes safety. The manufacturer boasts 50 years of legacy in terms of vehicle safety. Now, Skoda has conducted the ‘Safer with Skoda’ initiative at the NATRAX track in Indore. The NATRAX is the longest track in Asia and 5th largest vehicle test track in the world.
Significant milestone of Skoda
Skoda is celebrating a significant safety milestone after its Slavia sedan scored the highest safety rating in Global NCAP. This achievement is even more impressive as both the Slavia sedan and the Kushaq SUV earned a full 5-star safety rating for both adult and child occupants. Both these cars were tested under the newer and stricter crash-test protocols of the GNCAP.
Moreover, the Kodiaq 4×4 has also earned a 5-star safety rating for adult and child safety in the Euro NCAP, which means that the company now has a fully-tested, 5-star safe fleet of family cars for both adults and children.
About the Event and Safety of Cars
Skoda has recently hosted a Safer With Škoda Trackday at the NATRAX facility in Indore. The event showcased the safety features of Škoda cars and included emergency braking manoeuvres and off-road abilities of the 4×4 range.
Both the Slavia and Kushaq boast up to 6 airbags, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, tyre-pressure monitoring, multi-collision braking, electronic stability control, ISOFIX mounts for child seats, etc.
The event highlighted the impressive safety features of Škoda cars and demonstrated their ability to handle various situations.
