Škoda Auto India has announced the launch of the Slavia Style Edition, a limited edition variant of its best-selling sedan. This announcement comes as the company’s first product action after achieving one lakh sales in two years.
Slavia Style Edition – What do you get?
The Slavia Style Edition is based on the top-of-the-line Style variant of the Slavia and is equipped with features like a dual dash camera and roof foil. The car will be available in Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Tornado Red colours.
The Style Edition hosts an ‘Edition’ badge on the blacked-out B-pillars, black mirror covers, and a Black Roof Foil. Inside, customers are greeted by a ‘Slavia’ branded Scuff Plate with the steering carrying an ‘Edition’ badge. A Puddle Lamp with the Brand Logo Projection is revealed when stepping out of the car.
Limited Availability and Pricing
The Slavia Style Edition will be available in very limited numbers of only 500 units. Each of these 500 cars will come exclusively with the 1.5 TSI engine mated to the 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The Slavia Style Edition is priced at only ₹30,000 over the equivalent Style variant.
Safety and Warranty
The Slavia Style Edition carries forward the safety legacy of the Slavia, coming standard with six airbags and a full 5-star rating for adult and child safety under Global NCAP’s newer, stricter test protocols. The car is localised by up to 95% and comes with a standard warranty of 4 years or 100,000 kms and an optional warranty of up to 8 years or 150,000 kms.
Skoda Success In India
The Slavia sedan, like the Kushaq SUV, is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform that was developed specifically for the Indian market. The platform was jointly developed by teams in India and Czech with a focus on low maintenance costs, high localisation, and quick turnaround times for service and spares.
