A price hike was announced today by Skoda Auto India across its model range starting 1st January 2016. The increase in prices varies from 2% to 3% across their entire portfolio. This amounts to an approximate increase by Rs. 14,000 to 50,000 depending on the model and variant. Skoda cited reasons such as increasing input costs and changing market conditions to justify the hike.
