Close on the heels of many Jap manufacturers, ŠKODA Auto India announces a revised pricing of the line up of its cars in India. We have been seeing every car out there getting dearer and this undoubtedly is a bad news for us. The increase in price of Skoda cars varies from 2.2 % to 5.1 % across the range of offerings. These new prices come into play with immediate effect. The easiest way to get into the Skoda family, the Fabia hatchback range, will now start at Rs. 4.6 lacs and the latest entrant to Skoda’s line up, the popular sedan Rapid will now be available at a starting price of Rs. 6.9 lacs. D segmentar and very competent Laura range will now start at Rs. 12.9 lacs and the Yeti will be available at a starting price of 13.9 lacs. Skoda India’s flagship model, the Superb will now retail at a starting price of 19.6 lacs.
So, if you have been saving for your favorite Skoda, we unhappily announce that you will have to save a bit more.
