Škoda Auto has announced a new milestone of reaching 6,023 sales in the month of June. Under their INDIA 2.0 Initiative which started in 2018, Škoda Auto India broke their decade-old record in March 2022 by selling 5,608 units in March throughout India. Škoda Auto’s annual sales were 23,858 units in 2021 With 734 car sales in June 2021. The company has remarkably broken its own previous records by rising 721% this June, Year-on-Year, June 2022 is a rise of 721% compared to the 734 cars sold in June 2021, and it has already sold 28,899 cars in H1 of 2022.

Reaching 205+ customer touch points last month and 175 in December 2021, The brand has started to set the targets for 2022 of reaching 259 customer touchpoints. Škoda recently announced that their oldest and India’s longest-running car Škoda Octavia crossed 1 lakh sales. According to Škoda Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq are leading productions for INDIA 2.0. With Kodiaq already being sold out for this year the newly launched Slavia and Kushaq are also experiencing an increase in sales. Being in the Indian market for 2 decades Škoda Auto India is on a journey of growth. It will be interesting to see the growth considering that cars like the Kushaq and Slavia recently got downgraded features.
