Kia India on Friday, announced crossing 1 Lakh sales in the first half of 2022. With a new customer count of 1,21,808 Kia is growing speedily in the domestic market of India. Kia sold 24,024 cars in June 2022 making it their highest monthly sale by selling 8,388 units of Seltos and 7,895 units of Carens, and 285 units of Sonet Kia reached a Y-o-Y growth of 60% over June 2021 and 26% growth in H1, 2021.

In the first half of 2022 with a sale of 48,320 units, Seltos is the leading model followed by Sonet with 40,687 registered units and their new RV Carens with 30,953 units sold in just 5 months of launch. Carens covered almost 25% of companies overall sales in the first half of 2022 Kia recently announced the achievement of reaching 1.5 lakh sales of Kia’s compact SUV Sonet in just 2 years of its launch. Kia also celebrated the achievement of their newly launched electric vehicle Kia EV6, which is sold out for the year and is supposed to be delivered by September of this year. After entering the Indian market in 2019, In a short period of time with its 5 different models (Seltos, Sonet, Carens, Carnival, and Ev6), Kia has already made its place in India’s top 5 automakers.
