It’s Friday and the party fever is on! Some of you guys have great plans for the weekend while others have already left their cubicles and are heading straight to their wardrobe to suit up for the bash. For those who are ferrying themselves to their weekend plans in a self owned chopper, Italian designer Gabriele Teruzzi has a very super plush plan. Aimed for the mankind with bottomless pockets, Teruzzi has created an “out of the box” Shaddai – Super Yacht Concept. With the new grand concept the designer wants to take the owner to a point of extreme sense of power.
‘Shaddai’ means ‘omnipotence’ which in turn means supremacy and power. Therefore the yacht takes a name that corresponds to the main concept that the designer had in mind since the beginning. He expresses that the 150 meters mega yacht concept reinterprets the desire to see the world from a vantage point of view. It brings the owner from the sea to sky, enjoying a top view, a point where everything is on his own sight and control.
The futuristic shape of the Shaddai yacht is inspired by contemporary architectures around the world. On the first glance the yacht seems like a Brontosaurus emerging out of water. The owner’s cabin is situated right on top of the protruding neck that is almost 38 meters off the base. The materials used in the cabin and throughout the yacht have been picked by the designer himself and are inspired by important fashion houses in Italy.
The Shaddai also has a beach club and a main aft deck. The main deck houses an infinty pool which produces a visual effect of water with no boundary, merging with the sky. The pool connects the beach club to the main deck. An aquarium is situated in the middle of the room that divides the two sides of the yacht
As stated by Teruzzi, “The main aft deck is a very refined place, where the owner can enjoy of a sense of peace of mind. The sound of the waterfall that falls from the infinity pool situated on the upperdeck helps the owner to be transported in this journey of emotions.”
The yacht is decorated with premium stuff and also features a waterfall. At the moment the Shaddai is still on papers and has not been executed in real life, but it is about time for a well off chap to get it made for himself.
