Maruti Suzuki is leaving no stone unturned to grab the public attention towards the new offering. The company recently launched the commercial film of the car.
The official brochure reveals the features available on each variant of the car. The Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be offered in three trims- LXi, VXi and ZXi. A good move by the company- Maruti will offer the EZ drive automatic transmission with all the three trims. This is a welcome move considering all manufacturers offering the automatic transmission in the higher trim only.
Powering the Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be a 998cc three pot K10 petrol engine that also powers the Alto K10 and the WagonR. For the Celerio, the engine has been tuned to deliver a max output of 69 bhp, while delivering an ARAI certified fuel efficiency figure of 23.1 kmpl with the manual and EZ drive automatic transmission.
Last week, on the dedicated website, Maruti Suzuki revealed a few images of the Celerio’s interior and exterior. The images show the car’s steering-mounted controls for audio system, manual AC controls, 235-liter boot space, five-speed manual transmission option, fixed headrests for the front seats, map pocket on the co-driver seat back, dual tone interior and blinkers on door mirrors.
