Scania Commercial Vehicles India Private Limited will participate in Bus World 2015 between April 28 and 30, in Mumbai. Scania will showcase their compelling offer at this flagship event. This includes Metrolink, Scania’s intercity bus, trucks, and India’s first green bus, which was launched in Nagpur last year. With both bus and truck manufacturing facilities in India, Scania is a global company with a local ethos.
Scania has also been providing transport solutions for over 20 years in regions of Europe, Latin America, South East Asia, Middle East and Africa and has the vision of providing a well-structured sustainable transport system in India as well. Working in sync with India’s new economic vision of establishing smart and sustainable cities, Scania solutions will contribute to providing commercially and economically viable sustainable transport systems.
Scania also see itself as a partner in the government’s Make in India campaign and as firm that will be a driving force in promoting India as manufacturing hub as it expands operations in India.
Since currently offers a range of on-road haulage truck models specially adapted for the Indian market – the R 580 6×4, the G 460 6×4 and the P 410 6×2 and also the off-road P 410 8×4 mining tipper. Scania has a successful partnership with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in the mining segment.
