Royal Enfield has announced that the new Thunderbird 350X and Thunderbird 500X India launch will take place on February 28, 2018. The new Royal Enfield Thunderbird duo, donning bright colour options, were previously spotted at what appeared to be a Company warehouse.
Visually, the new Thunderbird 500X will feature cosmetic upgrades only and will be available in dual-tone paint job with four new colour options : Yellow, Blue, Red and White (they’d most likely have fancier official names).
Other features will include LED tail-light, projector headlight with LED DRL, disc brakes on both ends, a flatter handlebar instead of the cruiser style unit, single-piece saddle instead of the split-seat setup, and alloy wheels instead of wire-spoke units. The pillion backrest, as seen in the spy images, was missing but we’re sure that’d be available an optional accessory.
Both, the Thunderbird 350X and 500X will most likely use the stock motor from the standard Thunderbird model. Thus, the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X as well as the Royal Enfield 500X will continue to source power from the 346cc engine and 499cc engine respectively. The former is capable of producing 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm of torque while the latter produces 27.2 bhp and 41.3 Nm of torque.

Bullet is a wonderful machine. I have failed to understand how they sell this machine in thousands!!. Salute marketing team for selling a machine that carries a price tag above 1.5 lakhs successfully which has no refined engine, no quality gearbox (I mean gearshift!), no fuel efficiency, no decent handling and no fuel efficiency. I praise the buyers too who listen to their heart rather than listening to their brain!!
