Recently, Royal Enfield introduced a limited-run version of the Shotgun 650, and it did not take long for buyers to grab every motorcycle. The Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts was restricted to just 100 units worldwide, and the entire batch has now been sold.
The response in India was even faster. Royal Enfield had kept only 25 motorcycles for the Indian market, and these were booked in just three minutes after sales opened on July 30.

Royal Enfield had opened registrations before the sale, and the numbers showed strong interest in the motorcycle. More than 9,000 people from different countries registered their interest even though only 100 bikes were available.
The 100 motorcycles were split equally between four regions:
- India – 25 units
- Europe – 25 units
- Americas – 25 units
- Asia-Pacific – 25 units
India was the last market to receive its booking window. Once it opened, the 25 bikes were quickly taken by buyers.
What Makes This Shotgun 650 Different?
The motorcycle was developed with Taiwanese custom motorcycle builder Rough Crafts and takes its design inspiration from the Caliber Royale custom bike created by Winston Yeh.
The special edition gets several visual changes that give it a more exclusive look.
- Gloss Jet Black and Matt Stealth Black paint
- Hand-finished gold leaf detailing
- Grey accents
- Gold-finished fork tubes
- Black bar-end mirrors
- Quilted leather seat
- Contrast-cut alloy wheels
- Cast brass Rough Crafts badge
- Individually numbered fuel tank
Every motorcycle also comes with a numbered artwork of the Caliber Royale sketch signed by Winston Yeh.
No Extra Engine Power
There are no major mechanical changes to the motorcycle. It uses the same 648cc parallel-twin engine found in the regular Shotgun 650.
The engine produces 47 hp and 52.3 Nm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. So, buyers are mainly paying for the limited production, custom styling and special details.
Price And Availability
The Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts was priced at Rs. 5.75 lakh, ex-showroom, in India. With all 100 motorcycles sold globally, customers can no longer book one directly from Royal Enfield.
For collectors and Royal Enfield fans, the individually numbered motorcycles could become an interesting part of their collection.
