Royal Enfield Himalayan Tackles Sand, Tarmac And Rock In The Latest Promotional Video

Royal Enfield has launched a new promotional video of the Himalayan and this time around, the motorcycle is riding through the sand, tarmac and rocks. The motorcycles seen in the new promotional video are the new Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet (Sleet means ‘rain containing some ice, as when snow melts as it falls.’). The new RE Himalayan Sleet was launched in India at INR 2,12,666 (on-road Chennai).

The new Himalayan Sleet, as described by Royal Enfield President, Rudratej Singh, is inspired by the terrain of Royal Enfield’s spiritual home – the Himalayas, its craggy land, the gorges, edgy peaks all brought together in the colours of the sleet.

The first 500 units of the new Himalayan Sleet were equipped with the Explorer Kit, which included an assortment of Royal Enfield genuine motorcycle accessories. Mechanical details remain identical to the standard Himalayan and the motorcycle continues to us 411cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC engine that is tuned to deliver 24.5 bhp of power at 6,500 rpm and 32Nm of peak torque at 4250 rpm respectively.
