Rossi back on the saddle at Misano today

Valentino Rossi is going to get back on the racetrack on an R1 on the Misano racetrack today in a bid to test his fitness level. We are sure that he is far from having completely healed after a crash that saw his tibia and fibula breaking and protruding through his flesh, but it would be nice to see him back on the saddle.
USA Today had reported that the doctor who has operated ‘the Doctor’ said that Rossi’s injury was the worst he had repaired ever, and the chances of the ace rider getting back to racing in 2010 were extremely bleak. However, it’s an established fact now that the slim and tall Italian is not a normal human being. His powers to bounce back from tough times are extraordinary – sometimes bordering on to supernatural. Can the Doctor spring a surprise on us with his extraordinarily will or healing powers? We’ll all have to wait and see. The official sources say – “Rossi is likely to test in the late afternoon, in a closed track/closed doors session.  Later in the evening a press statement from the rider will be released.”  You know where to come for the updates
