Reise Moto has launched its premium two-wheeler tyre brand ‘Reise’ in India.
A division of the Mahansaria Group, Reise Moto comes with access to Mitas’ European technology as it is the result of the joint venture between Mahansaria Group and the European brand Mitas which is bringing a wide range of technologically superior products to the large sector of two-wheeler customers in India.
What is Reise?
Reise is a German word meaning “Trip”. The brand’s products that are curated for the growing segment of premium two-wheeler customers in India are developed and designed in Europe to bring international quality tyres to Indian roads.
For Reise Moto, Mahansaria Group has joined hands with the European brand Mitas to manufacture performance two-wheeler tyres and entered into a 76:24 JV with Mitas to set up a 30+ acre greenfield state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Saykha, Gujarat, India. The plant manufactures performance two-wheeler tyres under the brand name Mitas for European and North American markets and under the brand name Reise for the domestic market in India.

Reise Moto has launched 26 SKUs in Phase 1 under 6 sub-brands viz. trailR, tourR, traceR & troopR for the motorcycles category and tripR and twistR for the scooters category; with an aim to create specialized tyres optimized for purpose-specific performance for each sub-segment in the high-end performance as well as the commuter segments of the two-wheeler industry.
