Recently concluded car drifting event ‘KamaSutra Will it Drift’, saw an delightful turn out of motorsport enthusiasts across the city to witness the event. The occasion also saw Raymond chairman Gautam Hari Singhania drifting his car. Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, Raymond Limited and Founder Chairman, Super Car Club organized the event for these drifting enthusiasts.
The 28 participants who registered were given special tips and guidelines for drifting to ensure complete safety. Singhania also showcased his drifting skills and kick-started the competition. The participants were judged on the basis of skill, speed, accuracy and style.
The participants exhibited their drifting skills on the track with their front wheel drive cars which was a challenging task as these cars do not facilitate easy drifting unlike rear-wheel drive cars. Kejas Shah clinched the 1st Prize as he drifted his way to victory in his Nissan Micra followed by Bharat Gopal and Arvaan Joshi on second and third spot respectively.
