Tata Motors has displayed a special edition of the upcoming compact SUV at the ongoing 2017 Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS), known as the Nexon Geneva edition. Based on Tata’s Impact design language, the Nexon compact SUV seen in the images here features the signature honeycomb grille flanked by projector headlamps with LED DRLs on either side. The model also gets fog lamps, thick body cladding, roof rails and body coloured ORVM caps. Although the Nexon is likely to be available with a dual tone paintjob, the model here sports a monotone paintjob of white.

The Tata Nexon is expected to be available with two engine options: a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a new engine from the company’s Revotron family. Transmission duties would be taken care of by a six speed manual transmission as standard while an AMT could be offered as an option. Once launched in India, the Nexon compact SUV will rival the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and the Mahindra TUV300.
