In its 20th year of participation at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show, Tata Motors presented special editions of its next generation product line-up, the Tata TIGOR compact sedan and the the Tata NEXON compact SUV.
Unveiling this exciting line-up in Geneva, Mr. MayankPareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, “We have always showcased pioneering concepts and innovations every year in Geneva. Denoting the company’s IMPACT design philosophy, the TIGOR and NEXON boasts of best-in-class driving pleasure in their respective segments. We have taken the excitement to the next level this year by showcasing special Geneva Editions of the TIGOR and the NEXON.”
The NEXON Geneva Edition gets a dual tone red and grey exterior color scheme, while the rest of the features remain identical to the car showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The exterior features include a chrome ‘Humanity Line’ on the upper grill, projector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), LED tail lamps, a contrast tone rising belt-line finisher, a floating roof, 17” alloy wheels, and roof rails.
Inside, the NEXON Geneva Edition comes an openable grand console with armrest, an integrated dashboard design with premium materials and surface texture, ergonomically placed bottle and cup holders, multiple utility spaces, handbag hangers, laptop & iPad trays, automatic climate control with rear AC vents. TheNEXON Geneva Edition boasts of an infotainment system, featuring a dash-top touchscreen exclusively designed by Harman, a speaker system for surround sound effect and features such as voice command recognition.
As for safety, the NEXON Geneva Edition is equipped with front dual airbags, a rear-view camera, advanced dual path suspension, 9th generation ABS with EBD with Corner Stability Control, while the ISOFIX at the rear outboard seats ensures child safety. The NEXON Geneva Edition on display is equipped with a 1.5L diesel engine with three drive modes, a 6-speed manual transmission and an electric power assisted steering

The TIGOR showcased at the Geneva International Motor Show 2017 is also different from the TIGOR showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. Aesthetically, the TIGOR Geneva Edition features restyled front and rear bumpers, along with a faux skid plate up front.
The TIGOR Geneva Edition flaunts a chrome Humanity Line at the front that extends into the projector headlamps to create the face of the car. The strong shoulder line (Slingshot line) executed around the car highlights the prominent LED tail lamps as well.
Tata Motors has worked closely with HARMAN to design and engineer an acoustic audio and infotainment system, which has been certified by globally renowned Golden Ears and tuned by seasoned Harman audio experts. The infotainment system comes with a touchscreen to access the various connectivity options and supports the park assist system with a display for the rear camera.
