Porsche Reveals Interiors Of The 2024 Cayenne

The third-generation of the Porsche Cayenne luxury performance SUV is set for its global debut next month on April 18. Ahead of which, the company has released a few images revealing its new interior that features a completely revised dashboard.

Porsche will launch the refreshed 2024 Cayenne for sale globally at the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show. Porsche says the new Cayenne interior “creates a new, more intensive driving experience ” with the most important controls around the steering wheel. 2024 Porsche Cayenne: Interiors

The images shared by Porsche for the Cayenne facelift show an interior inspired off its Taycan electric sportscar. The Cayenne is now seen sporting three screens on its dashboard. A 12.6-inch curved screen for the digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch screen for the infotainment head unit. While a new 10.9-inch screen has now been introduced as an option for the front passenger.

Depending on the vehicle’s specifications, the curved digital instrument panel offers seven different views – including Porsche-style five-dial. The views include a simplified layout with a focus on essential information.

The 12.3-inch infotainment screen is a rectangular unit perched on the center of the dashboard. It supports Siri voice commands to operate vehicle functions while wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are part of the package too. Online-connected navigation is a standard feature. When stationary, occupants can also stream video on the display.

There’s a new reworked 911 steering wheel with a modern and sporty design, and a new central console. A new HVAC control panel is located underneath the large centre screen. A glass surface covers a black panel with touch recognition and haptic feedback included. The automaker has also added some physical control switches for the system along with a volume knob below.

The gear selector switch has been moved into the driver’s side dash to the right of the steering wheel. Porsche have also added a cooled, inductive wireless smartphone charging pad in the centre stack, and it also comes as a standard item. Complementing which are two USB-C ports in the front storage compartment, plus two more in the rear centre console.

2024 Porsche Cayenne: Other Details

The refreshed Cayenne is expected to feature a selection of powertrain options. Amongst them is a twin-turbo V8 rated at 468 HP, as well as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) package rated at 463 HP with an enlarged 25.6 kWh battery.

We expect the automaker to bring the facelifted third-gen Cayenne to our shores a few months after its global debut.
