Hyundai has released the official image of the 2011 Hyundai i10 VTVT – spy pics of which leaked onto the internet a few days back. Hyundai has only released a photo of the front exterior of the new car, showing the facelift design of the headlights, fog lamps and the new grille. The new design is themed around the fluidic design language that has been established by the 2010 Hyundai i40 and Elantra.

Under the hood, the i10 gets a new variant of the 1.2-litre Kappa engine with the addition of a variable valve timing tech. India will get this new engine alongside the current 1.1-litre Epsilon mill. Inside the car there is a bit of aluminium garnish to the centre console, blue backlight for instrumentation and the addition of a gear shift indicator. More photos will be released closer to the 2010 Paris Motor Show, where the car will be officially unveiled to the visiting crowd. Though Hyundai India is tightlipped about the new i10, our sources tell us that the new facelift i10 will be launched in India on the 23rd of September 2010.
