Triumph Motorcycles has launched the new Bonneville Street Twin in Mumbai at INR 7,21,710. According to Triumph, this is the British marque’s most contemporary new Bonneville; built to slot straight into today’s rider’s lifestyle. It’s built for fun, built to ride with a smile, and built for owners to customise.

Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles, India, said, ‘Modern classics are becoming more and more popular since people today are looking for character, style and fun. We are extremely thrilled to launch the motorcycles in the Mumbai market as it is one of the most mature cities for riders and biking enthusiasts. We have some of the most committed riding patrons from Mumbai who never fall short of exhibiting their loyalty of the brand Triumph. Amar Seth, Dealer Principal, Shaman Triumph, said, ‘The Street Twin will definitely do great in Mumbai with its lethal combination of powerful performance and dynamic handling. With great weekend destinations around Mumbai, the city has no dearth of passionate riders and biking communities. The all-rounder Street Twin would be an instant favourite among the riders here.’

Powering the new Street Twin is an all-new 900cc ‘high torque’ 8 valve, parallel twin Bonneville engine. The engine churns out a peak torque figure of 80Nm at a low 3200 rpm, which is a bump of 18% compared to its predecessor. The engine also benefits from Triumph’s next generation ride-by-wire fuel-injection and engine management system, which promises smooth delivery through the five-speed gearbox.
