New Skoda Superb Spec Sheet, Changes, Features and More Details

We are testing the new Skoda Superb today, and will be bringing to you a detailed review of the segment leading car very soon. In the meantime, we have gathered detailed information on the car, as to what the tech specs, features and the changes made to the car would be. Let’s start with the technical specifications

The new Superb for India will continue to be powered by two engine options doing duty on the current version. There will be a 1.8 liter TSI petrol and one 2.0 TDI diesel powering the car.
The petrol engine will be offered with two transmission options – a 6speed manual or a 7 speed DSG. The diesel engine, on the other hand will be offered only with a 6 speed (not 7 speed, mind) DSG auto box.
The 1.8 TSI petrol motor will deliver 160 bhp of peak power between 4500 – 6200 rpm, and peak torque rated at 250 Nm between 1500-4500 rpm.
The 2.0 TDI diesel will dish out 140 bhp of power at 4200 rpm and 320 Nm of peak torque between 175-2500 rpm. Those power and torque stats for the car remain unchanged.
All variants of the car will come shod with 205 / 55 R16 rubber, and boast a massive trunk with a capacity to swallow565 liters of volume.
