The new Nissan Lannia is an out and out bold design that believes in no grey area. However, this love it or hate it piece of modern art is only reserved for the Chinese. Revealed at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show, the Lannia has been developed specifically for the trendsetter Cantomandarin audience who are in their 20’s and 30’s.
According to Titus Liu, Creative Design Manager at Nissan Design China, the car market in the country is moving at a very fast rate and the new generation doesn’t really wish to stick with the status quo anymore. As a result, although the actual car’s design has been slightly sobered down in comparison to the concept, it still retains the V-motion grille, a very interesting C-pillar, floating roof and boomerang headlights.
To win over the gadget crazy generation, on the inside, the Nissan Lannia gets an integrated infotainment system designed exclusively in China, a driver focused cockpit, advanced audio system with smart-phone connectivity and a 7-inch multimedia display screen.
