As we have been saying, the launch of the new C Class Edition C is a part of Mercedes’ celebrations on the occasion of sale of 10 million copies of C Class worldwide.
The recently introduced Mercedes C Class Edition C has gone on sale at price of INR 39.16 lakhs (ex showroom, Mumbai) and is available in only one engine variant- The C220 CDI.
This means that the new Mercedes C Class Edition C Celebration Edition is powered by a 2.2 litre four-cylinder diesel engine that has a max power of 170 hp and peak torque of 400 Nm. The motor bestows the car with sufficient grunt to dismiss 100kmph from rest in just 8.1 secs and the car has a top speed of 231 kmph.
Talking about the exterior visual upgrades that help with differentiating the new Edition C from the regular variants, the car comes with-
- A glossy black finish for the radiator grille
- Black inserts for the headlight
- An AMG body kit that consists of new front and rear bumper spoilers and side skirts
- 17-inch alloy wheels which come finished in a two-tone finish.
On the inside, the car gets a new navigation system, sports seats, an electric sunroof, contrast stitching for the upholstery, ambient lighting and split folding rear seats.
The production of the new Mercedes C Class Edition C Celebration Edition will be limited to 500 units only.
