It was towards the end of last year, when Hero MotoCorp, country’s largest selling bike maker, showcased the new Hero Pleasure at an unveiling event held in Delhi. The updated scooter was unveiled along with 15 new products and it was being said that the new Hero Pleasure launch would happen in the first half of this year. It has now emerged that the new Hero Pleasure launch would happen later this month and several dealerships across the country have already started receiving the first batch of vehicles. Seen here are some images of the new Pleasure at a dealership.
As can be seen in these images that we have here, the new pleasure sports a cosmetic makeover that, along with some new features, should make the Pleasure a more lucrative proposition for scooter buying lot. In a manner typical of Hero MotoCorp, no major updates have been given to the scooter.
The upcoming Pleasure facelift will be launched in two models- a special edition model that you can see in the images we have here and another regular model that misses out on few features. The new Pleasure gets a new headlamp, new indicators, new taillamp and completely revised body panels. Other than the new body panels, the scooter also gets a new instrument panel.
New features that the updated Pleasure would come with include- new Integrated Braking System (IBS), side stand indicator, light for the under seat storage compartment and a mobile charging socket. Powering the new Pleasure would be the same 102 cc air cooled single cylinder engine that powers the pre-facelift model. This engine has a max power of 6.74 BHP and peak torque of 7.85 NM. It is highly likely that the new Hero Pleasure price won’t be too different from that of the current model.
