The highly anticipated Bajaj Pulsar SS 200 have been spotted again and the latest batch of Bajaj Pulsar SS 200 images that you see on this page has been sent to us by our friend Rohit Goli, who spotted this test mule testing near Bajaj’s Chakan facility.
Unlike what was being expected the Bajaj Pulsar SS 200 was conspicuous by its absence at the Auto Expo 2014. Instead, what greeted us was a duo of 375cc Pulsar concepts that are sure to pave the way for Bajaj Auto Ltd in future. These two new bikes, the Pulsar SS 400 and the CS 400, have excited all the bike aficionados to no end and we just can’t wait for these models to enter production. However, Bajaj Auto Ltd earlier announced that it would launch the Bajaj Pulsar SS 200 before it launches the SS 400 and CS 400.
Several Bajaj Pulsar SS 200 images like the ones we have here have already revealed that the SS 200 would look much like the SS 400 we saw at the Auto Expo earlier this year.
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar SS 200 is likely to be a fuel injected version of the 200cc single cylinder motor that powers the 200NS. This engine is likely to have a max power figure of 25PS and around 20 Nm of peak torque. The motor will be mated to a six speed manual transmission. The bike will boast of telescopic forks up front and a mono-suspension at the rear. ABS is likely to be offered as an option and as can be seen in the latest spy pics, the bike will have a digi console that would have an analogue tacho set to the rider’s left, and a digital display for everything else, and set to the right.
The Bajaj Pulsar SS 200 price will be slightly more than that of the 200NS and the new bike will be a direct rival to the Yamaha R15 V2.0 and Honda CBR150R.
