New Changes Introduced To Kushaq Trims

With a semiconductor shortage hitting the auto industry Škoda Auto India had previously made a few changes in the Kushaq trims by replacing the 10-inch infotainment system with a smaller 8-inch system. Rearranging the trims, Škoda has taken up some new changes in the Kushaq trims. These new changes will be favourable for Kushaq’s popularity in the market.

The infotainment system was previously limited to the recently launched Monte Carlo variant of Kushaq which has now been introduced to the Style Variant too. With that now, both Slavia and Kushaq share the same 8-inch infotainment system. The push-button engine starts/stop feature can now be seen in the Kushaq variant which is a positive change.

A non-sunroof variant was recently introduced to the Kushaq lineup, this variant is ₹ 20,000 cheaper than the one with a sunroof and it comes with 1-litre TSI 6-speed manual transmission. Other Variants of Kushaq get the power options of 115 PS 1-litre TSI mill with a  6-speed automatic gearbox, a  150 PS 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine with an option of either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic unit.

Other features of this SUV include ŠKODA Crystalline LED with Daytime Running Lights, Piano Black Luxe Interiors, Ventilated leather front seats, Height Adjustable Driver Seat, and Electronic Multi-Tripmeter. The Kushaq offers safety features such as 6 airbags, an anti-theft alarm, crash sensor, traction control, engine check warning, engine immobilizer, and door ajar warning. While the tech features include Integrated 2DIN Audio, great quality speaker, Wireless Phone Charging, Bluetooth Connectivity and connective car features like Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

The price of Škoda Kushaq ranges from a bottom price of ₹ 11.29 lakh to the top of ₹ 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). With these new changes, Kushaq will give even stronger competition to  Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti S-Cross.
