Update: The latest sighting of the TVS Graphite test mule reveals new details about the upcoming scooter. The front features a halogen headlight which will most likely be accompanied by a LED DRL. The front blinkers are mounted on the panel above the apron.
All the ride related information is displayed on an all-digital instrument console. The switchgear quality looks premium too.
Adding to rider’s convenience is the external fuel filler cap which is placed right above the tail light. The scooter rides on a 12-inch wheels which are wrapped in TVS Tyres. Suspension duties are performed by a conventional telescopic unit while braking power is provided by a petal disc brake at the front. Lastly, the exhaust will feature a dual tone finish.

The upcoming TVS Graphite, which made its debut at the 2014 Auto Expo is currently being tested. A test mule of the scooter was recently seen in action on Indian roads as it was chased by an Aprilia SR150 on NH44. While the displacement is still unknown, the test mule could be seen clocking speeds of over 100 kmph which hints that the upcoming scooter may use a 150cc engine. The new 2018 TVS Graphite 150 will be placed against the Aprilia SR150 so expect the prices to hover between INR 60,000-70,000.

While there is no official confirmation about the India launch of the new 2018 TVS Graphite 150, our source close to the developments hints that the production version of the new scooter may arrive at the 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi.
New 2018 TVS Graphite 150 Features and Details
The concept displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo featured an Automatic Manual Transmission, active Matrix LCD display which delivers a lot of information in digital format, an immobilizer and a smart electronic key. However, the production spec model may not feature all the aforementioned hardware.
Our source also suggested that the new 2018 TVS Graphite 150 would be a coming with body mounted headlight. The test mule in the video came equipped with alloy wheels (most likely 12-inch) wrapped in tubeless tyres, a digital speedometer, apron mounted headlight, and split grab rails. Other features may include a telescopic front suspension, and a disc brake upfront. It’s a full size scooter which should deliver a comfortable ride quality to the rider and the pillion.
New 2018 TVS Graphite 150 Engine and Performance
TVS did not reveal any mechanical details about the upcoming scooter although looking at the video, we expect the new Graphite to come equipped with a 150cc engine which should deliver about 10-11 bhp of power and around 11-12 Nm of torque.

Safety net on the new 2018 TVS Graphite 150 should include a single-channel ABS, or TVS’s Sync Brake System.

I have taken test drive of this scooter. It was named as ENTORQ. Best scooter I have ever tested. Handling was par with geared bikes. It will be certainly one of the stylish scooter available in India.
