In October 2016, Yamaha officially revealed its new 2017 Yamaha XMAX 300 performance scooter. The XMAX 300 will be launched in Europe in March next year and will replace the current XMAX 250 sold in that market. The motorcycle will be seen at the upcoming EICMA 2016 motorcycle show. But the XMAX 300 will not be the only performance scooter on the stage.

Mechanically, the new TMAX’s 530cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC inline twin-cylinder engine will get a EURO-IV compliant. The scooter may have to sacrifice power for the compliance but we would wait for an official confirmation on that front.
