New 2015 Jeep Renegade spotted in Michigan

There’s no denying the fact that products often look different in official images than what they looki like in real life. So, for most of us, it is only logical to reserve the final comments before seeing a vehicle in flesh. One guy who feels in the same lines is a JeepRenegadeForum member, who spotted the new 2015 Jeep Renegade in an apartment complex parking lot in Michigan. The JeepRenegadeForum member, who has the handle name ’minibouncer’, writes:

At first I LOVED the renegade, but after seeing it in person, they REALLY need to trim up the side and front of the vehicle! There’s tons of unnecessary material in my opinion. The doors are HUGE and look like they are made of flimsy plastic. Is this a body kit??? Also, the roof did NOT have the removable top option. It was stick shift. Rear disc brakes. Vehicle sits lower than I thought it would. I guess I’ll have to wait and see the final touched up versions that hit the dealerships.

However, worth a mention here is the fact that the car that has been spotted is not a final production car but a regional test vehicle.

Sales of the new Jeep Renegade in Europe are expected to commence late this year, with the U.S. and Canadian launch happening only some time in first half of 2015. The new 2015 Jeep Renegade will go on sale with two petrol engines for the North American car market, which would be- a 160hp 1.4-liter turbo mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a 184hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder mated to a nine-speed automatic.
