The production version of the new 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept can come next year
What we have here with us are a couple of official pics of the new 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept. The new 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept will make its public debut at the NAIAS shortly and might spawn a production model next year.
Basically, the new 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Dune concept is the successor to the 2000 Beetle Dune Concept and sports a similar rugged look with plenty of crossover bits such as body cladding, faux skid plats, chunkier alloys, bolder wheel arches, et al. On the inside, the new 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Dune concept gets a dash-mounted handle and several yellow highlights.
Powering the new 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept will be a 2.0-liter 4 pot gasoline engine that has a max power of 210 HP (154 kW). All this power is sent to the wheels by a six-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission.
