New 2014 Range Rover Long Wheelbase Launched in India; Price and Details here

We reported in detail when the Tata Group owned Land Rover showcased the Range Rover Long Wheelbase version at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2014. Now, Land Rover has officially launched the Range Rover Long Wheelbase in India.

The Land Rover Range Rover Long Wheelbase comes with an 186 mm longer wheelbase.  This transforms into an extra 140 mm of leg room over the normal Range Rover in the second row. The car can be ordered with a normal bench in the second row or with individual executive seats. The individual seat’s backrest can be tilted to 17 degrees of recline, which is 8 degrees more than before. In the Range Rover Long Wheelbase, the massive signature panoramic sunroof also gets larger.

The Range Rover Long Wheelbase will be powered by the same engines as the regular Range Rover.  The 5.0-litre petrol, supercharged V8 engine, which produces 510 PS of power and 625 Nm of torque is the most powerful of the lot. The diesel engine duty will be done by a 4.4-litre V8, which produces 339 PS and 700 Nm of torque.

The Range Rover Long Wheelbase is priced at INR 2.08 crore for the 3.0-liter diesel variant. After coughing out INR 2.63 crore, you can become the proud owner of the Autobiography petrol variant.

The Range Rover Long Wheelbase will also come in Autobiography Black trim which will include some additions like :

  •  10.2 inch TV screens in the back
  • Chiller compartment
  • Special leather
  • Massage rear seats
  • LED mood lighting

The Autobiography Black will be launched in India by the end of this year.
