Believe when we say we saw it coming! Mercedes-Benz India has announced the CKD production of the new 2014 Mercedes S-Class from its manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune. The new S-Class is the most powerful luxury car to be produced by Mercedes India and currently has a waiting period of approximately 3 months.

Following the commencement of local production would be the arrival of the S350 CDI diesel variant of the new gen S Class. Quite obviously, the diesel variant has good chances of becoming an even bigger sales success than the S500 petrol model.
