Kawasaki India will launch the new 2014 Z1000 in India tomorrow! The new Kawasaki Z1000 2014 boasts of meaner looks and a performance package that is substantially more ferocious than the earlier model.
2014 Kawasaki Z1000 Engine
Powering the new 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 is a 1043cc DOHC liquid-cooled 16-valve inline 4 cylinder engine that traces its roots to the earlier model’s powertrain. For the new bike, the motor has a max power of [email protected],000 rpm and peak torque of 111 nm @ 7300 rpm. The re-tuned motor boasts of a remapped ECU and a new cold air intake (CAI) system. The new CAI unit routes fresh air to the airbox via extra ducts at the front of the bike, with a new non-woven air filter element providing better flow at high-RPM.
2014 Kawasaki Z1000 Frame
The new 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 boasts of a new aluminum frame that is very similar to the new Ninja ZX10R’s skeleton.
2014 Kawasaki Z1000 Suspenstion
The 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 has fully adjustable 41mm inverted SFF-BP front forks and new preload+rebound-adjustable back-link rear monoshock. The new monoshock is horizontally mounted and results into optimal mass centralization and heat resistance.
2014 Kawasaki Z1000 Braking
The new 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 boasts of a 310mm twin petal discs at front and a 250mm petal disc at rear. The bike benefits from ABS.
