Japanese auto maker Honda has unveiled the new 2014 Honda City Mugen in the Philippines. The new model is the successor the the Mugen version of the last generation Honda City. The earlier gen City Mugen was unveiled towards the end of last year and now, Honda has come up with a similar variant for the latest generation model. The 2014 Honda City Mugen will go on sale Philippines in the third quarter of this year and will come with many cosmetic upgrades that will be followed by engine, suspension, brakes and interior upgrades.
The visual upgrades for the new 2014 City Mugen include a front and rear bumper, along with beefy side skirts and a black front grille. Also seen in the images are Mugen decals along with a faux carbon finish for the outside rear view mirrors, a lip rear spoiler along with bespoke 17 inch mag wheels.
The new 2014 Honda City Mugen is based on the VX flagship variant and is powered by a four cylinder, 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that has a max power of 120 PS (88 kW) and peak torque of 145 Nm (107 lb-ft). All this power is transmitted to the front wheels via a five speed manual transmission. Also available as an option is an optional CVT gearbox.
