New 2014 Honda City Design

  • Honda’s new design concept “Exciting H Design” expressed via the new City
  • Massive front grille with loads of chrome
  • Low bonnet for a sporty, aerodynamic stance
  • The car takes inspiration from the new international Civic and is quite similar from angles to the current gen City too
  • The All New City measures 4440 mm in length (same as its predecessor), 1695 mm in width (same as outgoing model), 1495 mm in height (10 mm more than the outgoing model) and 2600 mm as the wheelbase (extended by an additional 50 mm over outgoing model).
  •  It’s taller and wider too with more head, leg, knee and shoulder room
  • Prominent crease through the waist line merges into another curvy line which culminates into the front bumper
  • Another prominent crease through the doors just above the door sills
  • Sharp headlamps with taper and sweep up as they approach the fender
  • Strong twin longitudinal creases on the bonnet to represent muscle and strength
  • Trapezoidal fog lamp housings with round lamps.
  • Aggressive looking central air scoop in the front bumper
  • Overall, the new City looks nice. It’s well proportioned, and a good mix of elegance and muscle. Nothing to make you shout wow! though.

  1. Hi Vipin,
We will put more and better images from the event in a bit, with even more information. Thanks for the appreciation, and for pointing out the flaw as well.

  2. Nice effort on consolidating. Hard work no doubt. But 1 thing left me flustered- you shot the spare in the trunk but forgot the driver door control panel!! How come…
