Narain suffers a Penalty

Narain Karthikeyan will have to suffer a five-place grid penalty for impeding Michael Schumacher during the qualifying session for the Indian GP on saturday.

This race has been a a one-off for the Indian racer. Narian is with HRT this weekend. Narain was found to have impeded the Schumacher’s Mercedes during the first qualifying segment.
Schumacher still made it to Q2 though. And it must had made Indian audience sad to see Karthikeyan qualify in a disappointing 21st position at India’s first ever Grand Prix.
He is the fifth driver to be given a grid penalty. He follows Lewis Hamilton, Sergio Perez, Vitaly Petrov and Daniel Ricciardo.
However, all of the above will  start ahead of Virgin’s Timo Glock, who failed to set a time within the 107 per cent in qualifying.
We wish luck to the Indian for the India’s first ever F1 race.
