We reported in detail when a handful of 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 images from NAIAS 2014 surfaced on the web world. (CLICK HERE for our earlier story). Now, what we have here are some more 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 images, brought to you LIVE from Detroit! Unlike the earlier show car, which was seen draped in a shade of bright yellow, the car here has a dull-grey paint job.

As we have been saying, powering the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is an all-new V8 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged engine that is aided by a 1.7-liter Eaton supercharger and an intercooler. The new Z06’s motor has a max power of “at least” 625 bhp (466 kW) and peak torque of 635 lb-ft (861 Nm). The motor can be ordered with either a 7-speed manual gearbox or a new 8-speed automatic transmission.
The new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 gets a carbon fiber aero package that consists of carbon fiber bits. The car also gets an optional Z07 package, that includes bigger winglets, Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup Tires, see-through center section on the rear spoiler and carbon ceramic-matrix brakes.
The new 2015 Chrvrolet Corvette Z06 rides on 19-inch mags shod in P285/30ZR19 tires at front and on 20-inch rims shod in 335/25ZR20 at rear. The new 2015 model becomes the first Corvette Z06 ever to boast of a removable roof panel manufactured from carbon fiber.
Deliveries of the new new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will commence early next year.
