MV Agusta official India launch scheduled on May 11

Iconic Italian performance motorcycle make MV Agusta will officially enter the Indian market on May 11, 2016. The two-wheeler maker will announce the complete product portfolio for the Indian market, latest prices and showroom details at the launch event. MV Agusta had informally launched its Brutale 1090 at Rs 17.99 lakh in November 2015. As reported earlier, Kinetic Group has entered into an exclusive agreement with MV Agusta S.p.A. of Italy for the import and sale of high-end MV Agusta superbikes in India and the venture between the Indo-Italian duo has been named “MotorRoyale”.

The two-wheeler maker has already commenced the booking process. In fact, DSK Benelli India Chairman Shirish Kulkarni has already become a proud owner of the F4 RR which retails for a special introductory price of INR 35.50 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). The F4 RR is the range-topping litre-class motorcycle from MV Agusta that boasts of an inertial control platform with lean angle sensor, 8-level traction control, full Ride-By-Wire, Öhlins electronic suspension and steering damper as well as GP-spec titanium con rods.

Apart from the F4 RR, MV Agusta will also introduce the Brutale 1090 for the Indian market. Designed by the legendary Italian motorcycle designer, Massimo Tamburini, The Brutale 1090 is powered by a 1078cc four-cylinder engine that produces 144 horsepower and 112Nm of torque with the top speed being rated at of 265kph. Other list of features include single sided swing arm, sequentially timed “Multipoint” electronic injection, 8 level traction control and a 2 step ABS with in built 4 maps system. The Brutale 1090 retails at Rs 19.3 lakh, ex-showroom Pune.

MV Agusta F3 800

The third product that is also expected to be launched is the MV Agusta F3 800. The F3 800 is widely considered as one of the best looking superbikes in the world. The motorcycle is powered by a 798cc three-cylinder engine with a peak power output of 148 horsepower. Top speed is rated 269kph. The bike comes loaded with 8-stage traction control and anti-lock brakes (ABS).

Apart from these three, MV Agusta may also launch its new 2016 Brutale 800 for the Indian market too. The latest model list, prices and the new showroom details will be announced at the launch event on May 11, 2016 scheduled at 11:45 AM so don’t forget to tune into Motoroids for all the latest updates.
