The wait is about to get OVER! The hotly anticipated 2014 Honda City will make its public debut in an event in New Delhi tomorrow.
It is pretty much for sure that the next gen 2014 Honda City will be bigger than the current model and would come with a considerably longer features list. Also, as we have been saying, the next gen 2014 City would come with the much required diesel engine option. It is being said that the oil burner that would power the next gen City is the same diesel motor that powers the Amaze entry level sedan. However, it would be safe to assume that this 1.5 litre diesel engine would produce better performance figures for the City.
Various reports suggest that the next City could be aesthetically similar to the new “China-specific” Crider sedan. Hence, there are good chances that the car would carry several design cues of the Concept C we saw earlier. The front of the car could be characterized by a liberal sprinkling of chrome on the front grille and by the DRLs. The car is likely to have a swooping roofline, which would help in imparting a hint of sportiness to the design. At the rear, the car will come with wrap around tail lights.
Equipped with a world class oil burner, class leading features and new age styling, the next gen 2014 City sedan could very well re-write the rules of upper C segment of Indian car market.
