Motoroids’ Record for Fastest GQ Drive Recognized by India Book of Records Website

We still remember May 8 2012- the day Motoroids broke the Limca Record for fastest lap of Golden Quadrilateral. Now, the record has been updated by India Book of Records on their official website. (https://www.indiabookofrecords.in/featured/fastest-expedition-of-a-golden-quadrilateral)

Carrying the slogan called “Safe Drive’’, AVR Prabhakar Rao and Mandapaka Bhaskar, engineers by profession, drove 6000Kms in 79 Hours and 30 mins.

AVR Prabhakar aka Probiker is a well known performance tuner and car/bike aficionado. Prabhakar, along with Bhaskar Mandapaka, a software engineer in HCL Technologies, started in Bengaluru on May 5th at 4:05 PM, drove day and night covering 13 states and reached bengaluru on 8th May at 11.33 PM.

The duo bettered the earlier record which was set by Tarun, Ashish and Prateek in 2009.

Prabhakar used a Fiat Punto to set the new record. The attempt was sponsored by the good folks at Yokohama, Spitfire Automotive Performance, Motul and Shiva Kalyan.

We are proud to have Prabhakar as a part of our family. Also, we would like to once again thank his friend, Bhaskar Mandapaka, for being an indispensable part of the team.
