We recently posted the spy pics of the next generation of Hyundai i10 and now more details of the upcoming car have surfaced on the cyber space.
The Hyundai i10 is an important car for Hyundai. We saw the i10 conquering the small car market when it was first launched and such was the impact of the Korean hatchback that many leading car makers went back to drawing boards to come up with a potent rival.
Years after the i10 greeted the world, the game has moved ahead in the small car market and the i10 has been rapidly losing out to fresher and more modern rivals.
All this looks all set to change with the arrival of next gen i10 which will go on sale as soon as in second half of next year.
The 2014 Hyundai i10 will not just be longer and wider than the current gen car but will also be considerably lighter.
The new i10 will sport an all new design. The front fascia will have an aggressive look with a larger & more sculpted grill and bigger & sharper headlights with DRLs. The car will have a sloping roofline and the rear will get a chunkier bumper and round taillamps.
It is being said that the 2014 Hyundai i10 will be tech-laden with a touch-screen infotainment system, parking cameras and start-stop system.
Powering the 2014 Hyundai i10 will be the next generation small capacity kappa petrol engine and new 1.1L three cylinder diesel engine. The motors will be coupled with a five speed manual gear box with four speed auto box option on petrol variant.
