Only a few days back, we had reported in detail about the popular Indian car maker Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) coming out with a refreshed Xylo. Now, as per a report in The Business Line, M&M wants Xylo to cross 1,00,000 sales before the current fiscal.
As per the report, Ravindra S. Sahane, Senior General Manager, Brand Xylo said,“We are confident of achieving this milestone. The Xylo was launched when the automotive sector was passing through turbulent times and yet received excellent response in the market. With the launch of a new Xylo, with a lot more innovative features, we are confident of crossing this number within two months.”
The same report also said that Atul Sinha, Senior General Manager, Sales, South, said that Xylo’s upgraded desirability factor will provide an option for those who are in market for a sedan, MPV or SUV. We recently reported that the manufacturer is all set to launch a new and compact version of the Xylo before festive season of Diwali this year.
Sahane also said that the Xylo has been strategically positioned in the market to take on those upgrading from hatches to sedans and MUVs. Also, the MUV’s pricing of Rs 7.32 lakh to Rs 10.24 lakh ex-showroom covers the segments below it and also a notch above.
