Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Limited launched in Indonesia

Pajero Sport Limited 1

The Pajero Sport is surely doing some good to the Indian subsidiary of Japanese auto maker Mitsubishi. Basically a rebadged Challenger, the Pajero moniker has surely helped the vehicle with catching attention of many entry level premium SUV buyers.

Now, Mitsubishi has introduced a new limited edition variant of the Pajero Sport in the Indonesian car market. The new variant goes on sale with the ‘Pajero Sport Limited’ moniker. Without beating around the bush, the newest addition that Pajero Sports seems to have got is that of a body kit.

The aero body kit of the Pajero Sport Limited consists of sportier bumpers, a pair of quintessential DRLs and a “Limited Dakar” badge on the tailgate.

On the inside, the Pajero Sport Limited gets a new infotainment system with a touchscreen interface and a 2DIN music player. The system also has GPS navigation and is connected to a reverse parking camera.

Powering the Indonesia spec car is the same 2.5 litre diesel that powers the Pajero Sport in India. The oil burner has a max power output of 178bhp and the Limited edition can be had only with a 5-speed automatic transmission and in either of the two variants – Exceed and Hi-Power. The Hi-Power variant can be bought in either of the 4×4 and 4×2 layouts.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Exceed Limited goes on sale for a starting price of 406 million Indonesian Rupiah. The Hi-power 4×2 Limited has a sticker price of 444 million Indonesian Rupiah and the top of the line, fully loaded, Hi-Power 4×4 Limited variant has a sticker price of 509.5 million Indonesian Rupiah.

Don’t be too surprised if HM-Mitsubishi plans to bring the limited edition variant to India.
