The Pajero, even with all its legendary off-roading capabilities and heritage is showing signs of aging. The famed 4×4 is not doing too well in terms of sales, and the high emissions were not helping the compliance either. Now the company has launched a BSIV compliant version of the car to keep up with the stringent emission laws.
With its tweaked engine, the Pajero is now producing 108PS, which is about 10PS less than the earlier version. Yeah, you read that right, the power loss is because Mitsubishi has strangulated the Pajero’s 2835 cc diesel engine to cut down on exhaust gases. Peak torque has gone down too.
