It has emerged that Mercedes-Benz will be launching the GLA with Edition 1 Model.
This model will be based on the GLA Urban. Edition 1 will be including features like bi-xenon headlights, black accents and chrome roof rails. Also, the crossover will be available with 19 inch AMG light alloy wheels. Windows will feature a black tint. Also, the mirrors, window trim and the headlights will be blackened.  The model will be available exclusively in 4 colors, viz- cirrus white, orient brown metallic, mountain grey metallic and designo magno mountain grey.
On the inside, the cabin will feature  nut brown leather/Alvorada fabric seats. Also, a sporty flat-bottom three spoke steering wheel and stainless steel pedals add to the sportiness of the crossover. Other changes include aluminum trim, a black roof liner and special floor mats. The car will also be equipped with a Light and Sight package. The package  includes ambient lighting, automatic windscreen wipers, and illuminated door sill plates.
Speaking about the powertrain, the Edition 1 model will be available with four engines. Gasoline engines include a 1.6-litre four cylinder motor which pumps out 156 HP, and a 2.0-litre four cylinder motor which pumps out 211 HP. Diesel engine range include two 2.2 litre oil burners which pump out 136 HP Â and 170 HP.
This model will be available for customers to order starting later next month and running for a year. Deliveries are expected to commence from March 2014. As was the case with the CLA Edition 1 model, Mercedes-Benz did will not launch this model in the USA.
